The Kenshokan is a traditional Japanese martial arts school with a Hawaiian flair offering instruction in Jujitsu and self-defense. We offer programs for children and adults. Both will gain confidence, flexibility, endurance, as well as inner and outer strength. Our childrens program is an empowering adventure of self discovery. Our students make profound gains in confidence and personal discipline that guides them steadily on the path to success. Adults will learn to calmly beat back lifes stresses and gain the ability to deflect and overcome any and all obstacles that may come their way. Train hard with an open spirit so that every challenge becomes an opportunity. We do not charge for rank advancement, students proceed at their own pace, first setting then superseding their goals. We train in the Hawaiian spirit of Ohana (family) and Kokua (working hand in hand towards a common goal) in a safe non competitive atmosphere. We encourage you to uncover you inner warrior! We are centrally located between West Hills, Woodland Hills, Warner Center & Canoga Park. Please feel free to call and arrange a visit.
